CritterGarden is a relaxing creature-collector and farming/life sim that is full of surprises. You are an intergalactic biologist that finds yourself stranded on a desolate planet that is devoid of life. With the help of the planet’s life-supporting AI, explore the planet to find the lost parts to your ship so you can return home. Along the way, use your abilities to bring the planet back to life!

Critters have complex emotional needs that must be balanced in order to breed them and to keep them happy. Critters need to eat, and each species has a unique diet. Some species will eat other Critters, and individuals may feel uncomfortable if a potential predator is nearby. If your garden becomes too overcrowded and there isn’t enough food for everyone, Critters may start to become aggressive and territorial. If the ecosystem is in the correct balance, your Critters will be happy and breed, and their populations will grow!

Use tools, plant seeds, and place objects to craft balanced ecosystems across nine biomes. Since different Critters have different needs, you will need to carefully manage your space and resources to accommodate a variety of different species. Or perhaps, maybe you’d just like to focus on making your garden look nice!

Discover new Critters by evolving the ones that are present in your garden. When certain requirements are met, a Critter may evolve into a new species. Every Critter is related on a grand tree of life – who knows what kinds of great beasts might descend from your humble Slimes?

There are a number of obstacles that prevent you from reaching new areas of the planet and reaching the lost parts to your ship. Your Critters will help you in a variety of mini-games that must be completed to progress across the planet and acquire your lost parts!

As you progress, you will learn more about the dark past of the mysterious planet you are stranded on. Why was there no more life left when you arrived? And why does this weird robot act so sad all the time?
